I have another enclosure from a competitor that's oriented like this and is heavy by comparison. This sits in my lap comfortably and the matte gloss is smooth. I recommend putting the grips on the bottoms over the legs.

I wasn't happy with my stick at first and left a bad review instead of reaching out to Eternal Rivals. They seen my review and asked why I didn't like. Howard from support is amazing and he fixed the issue I was having..I love my enclosure. I did some center clear panels for my Bluetooth lights and shines thru so.clear panels like I envisioned. They support is top notch. 5 stars will. Thanks to Eternal Rivals I can game with confidence.
